Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Financial Analyst at Oceans, you will partner with a boutique management consulting firm to support financial modeling, scenario planning, and decision-making for various industries.

In Short

• Collaborate with clients to deliver insightful financial models and analyses.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts.
• Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to support client decisions.
• Evaluate financial performance and deliver actionable insights.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages.
• Partner with client leadership to evaluate budgets and forecasts.
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Mentor junior analysts and review analytical work for accuracy.
• Work in a remote role with some in-person training required.
• Engage with diverse teams and support inclusive practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Exceptional Excel proficiency and experience with complex financial models.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements in a deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with accounting platforms and analytical tools preferred.
