Business Intelligence Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Data Analyst II, you will enable a data driven decision-making culture by providing insights at the point of decision, ensuring critical descriptive and leading indicators are available to decision makers.

In Short

• Work with limited supervision and take end to end ownership of assignments.
• Gather requirements and identify problem statements with stakeholders.
• Visualize data intuitively to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Document code and business logic, clearly communicating data analysis assumptions.
• Collaborate with development on additional data needs and quality issues.
• Use SQL and other technologies to extract data from different backend systems.
• Develop rich interactive visualizations integrating various reporting components.
• Identify data quality issues and participate in data governance efforts.
• Provide analytics to support near term business needs.
• Assist in problem-solving on related topics between departments.

Requirements

• Prior experience in the Financial Services industry.
• 2 years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst.
• 2 years of experience writing SQL queries.
• 2 years of experience creating dashboards in BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Analytics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Obtain Orion Industry Certification.
• Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders effectively.
