Senior SMTA Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Sr. SMTA Engineer to implement and enforce NVIDIA’s quality and reliability standards, ensuring suppliers meet performance standards throughout the Product Life Cycle.

In Short

• Implement and enforce quality standards for suppliers.
• Manage NVIDIA’s local and regional EMS and ODM supply base.
• Work with suppliers to enhance SMT processes.
• Establish Critical to Quality process control monitors.
• Review New Product Designs for Mass Production readiness.
• Monitor SMT process data KPI’s.
• Drive corrective actions and meet six sigma quality goals.
• Collaborate with Contract Manufacturers and ODMs.
• Travel to Texas as needed.
• Contribute to improvements in product Quality and Reliability.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Sciences, or Chemistry.
• 8+ years in PCBA materials and SMTA manufacturing processes.
• Extensive expertise in PCBA Technologies and Manufacturing.
• Proven expertise with complex PCB assemblies.
• Strong communication skills with various engineering teams.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Leadership and creative thinking skills.
• Willingness to travel to Texas.
• Excellent English proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with SMTA processes.
