Overview

Nubank is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Engineer to manage mission-critical environments, ensuring database ecosystem stability, scalability, and recovery readiness.

• Maintain and deploy Oracle Database environments for 24/7 applications.
• Implement Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate for high availability.
• Perform advanced SQL tuning and query optimization.
• Develop backup strategies using RMAN.
• Automate database tasks using Ansible and Terraform.
• Design Grafana dashboards for performance monitoring.
• Collaborate on Oracle environments in cloud and hybrid settings.
• Ensure database security and compliance.
• Act as the final escalation point for database incidents.
• Maintain documentation of database configurations and scripts.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Advanced skills in tuning Oracle databases.
• Proficiency with RMAN for backup operations.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.
• Expertise in Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring.
• Advanced Bash scripting skills.
• Knowledge of network management tools.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring pipelines.
• Experience with Oracle Database Appliance maintenance.
