Overview

As an FP&A Specialist at Nu, you will be responsible for financial planning, monthly close, and variance analysis of transaction-related costs and discretionary spend, partnering with various stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions.

In Short

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close activities for assigned expense categories.
• Build and maintain robust expense models and driver-based forecasts.
• Perform deep-dive root-cause analyses for variances and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Core Banking and other departments for accurate accounting and reporting.
• Develop self-serve dashboards and automated reports for stakeholders.
• Leverage AI/automation platforms for analyses and scenario modeling.
• Communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A processes and systems.

Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great financial modeling skills.
• Adaptability to dynamic work environments.
• Advanced or Fluent English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with budget cycles.
• Proficient with Anaplan, Google Sheets, and Scala/Databricks.
