Overview

The Controllership Analyst at Nubank will be responsible for promoting continuous improvement actions within the controllership team, focusing on automation and efficiency in financial processes.

In Short

• Responsible for improving and standardizing financial processes.
• Analyze and map existing processes for automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with data and product teams on financial process design.
• Maintain Nubank's core products and analyze unexpected behaviors.
• Structure accounting for new features and adapt data capture systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 9.
• Experience with banking products.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic planning capabilities.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Knowledge of local accounting regulations in Brazil, Mexico, or Colombia.
• Desirable knowledge in SQL, Scala, and Python.
