Overview

We are looking for a mid-level DevOps Software Engineer to work on the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) – Increment 1 (INC1) program. The Global Enterprise Network Modernization – OCONUS (GENM-O) is a critical mission provider responsible for keeping the Army connected through global network modernization projects. A successful candidate should have proven ability to lead, problem solve, and deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment. On this program, you will have the opportunity to build strong systems and software utilizing cloud capabilities to support a complex program.

In Short

  • Create and implement processes and tools for an automated, CI/CD pipeline based DevSecOps system.
  • Work from established DevSecOps requirements for rapid development and security.
  • Develop and maintain version control best practices using GIT.
  • Prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions.
  • Identify and streamline processes and capabilities.
  • Assist with support and operations as necessary.
  • Create and implement web service infrastructure and deployments.
  • Coordinate closely with team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in team ceremonies and document software development.
  • Communicate key project data to enhance team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 – 8 years of relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of related experience.
  • Experience working within the Agile framework.
  • Active Secret clearance preferred.
  • 8570 IAT II and Operating System certification.
  • Ability to automate release deployments using scripting languages.
  • Proficient with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering methodologies.
  • Understanding of SLA requirements and high availability architectures.
  • Experience with continuous integration environments and containerization.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams.
  • Direct experience with API integrations between applications.
