In Short

• Program Duration: October 6th, 2025 - April 17th, 2026
• Interns will learn about economics, finance, narrative storytelling, audio production, and fact-checking.
• The intern will rotate between two podcasts: The Indicator and Planet Money.
• Responsibilities include research, audio production assistance, writing copy, and social media management.
• Interns will be supervised closely by the host teams.
• Strong candidates will have excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of economics and finance is preferred.
• Must be a current student or recent graduate.
• Compensation is $20 per hour.
• Flexible work hours and telecommuting options available.

Requirements

• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of, or at least a keen interest, in economics, finance, and business.
• Professional phone presence for guest booking.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Independence and ability to work under deadline pressure.
• Web skills including basic web publishing and social media strategy.
• Experience with audio software is a plus.
