In Short

• Program Duration: June 2nd, 2025 - August 22nd, 2025 (dates may be flexible, depending on school requirements)
• Legal externs gain experience in the Office of the General Counsel (OGC).
• Responsibilities include contract review, legal research, and drafting legal documents.
• Externs participate in client meetings and legal training sessions.
• Education requirement: Current students in an accredited law school program.
• Preferred qualifications include strong academic credentials and legal research skills.
• This is a remote permitted role based out of Washington, DC.
• Externs are expected to work full-time, 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer.
• Compensation may include school credit or stipends from the school.
• Application submissions close on March 30th, 2025 at 11:59pm ET.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an accredited law school program (1L, 2L, 3L, or LLM).
• Relevant background experience and interest in OGC practice areas.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Legal research and writing skills.
• Demonstrated interest in media, technology, and/or non-profit fields.
