Tax Internship - Summer 2025 - Remote

Overview

As a Tax Intern at HCVT, you will gain hands-on experience in preparing federal and multi-state income tax returns while working in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

In Short

• Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for various entities.
• Complete projects within engagement timelines and budgets.
• Utilize firm tax preparation software effectively.
• Perform self-reviews of your work.
• Conduct tax technical research as assigned.
• Build relationships with firm professionals.
• Participate in firm training and activities.
• Work on professional development with a buddy and performance manager.
• Available to work 40 hours a week from Mid-June through Mid-August.
• On track to complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or taxation.

Requirements

• Minimum overall and accounting GPAs of 3.0.
• Active membership in Beta Alpha Psi or another campus accounting organization.
• Strong technical aptitude and effective communication skills.
• Leadership skills with strong judgement and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to learn in a fast-paced environment and receptive to feedback.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
• High attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and team player mentality.
