Payroll Lead - Remote

Overview

Nourish is seeking a detailed and service-oriented Payroll Lead to join our Finance team and drive payroll compliance for our employees, including 3,500+ Registered Dieticians, across the U.S. In this position, you’ll take on and own complex financial processes, finding ways to evolve and enhance them on your quest toward utmost efficiency and accuracy. Communication and collaboration are the keys to success in this role, as you’ll work closely with both the Finance, People, Clinical Ops, Equity and Tax teams.

• Develop and streamline payroll processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Lead cross-functional payroll initiatives.
• Collaborate with external vendors for seamless operations.
• Conduct semi-monthly payroll processing and handle discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with payroll-related laws.
• Handle year-end tax reporting.
• Support financial auditors with documentation.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of payroll experience in the U.S.
• Understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with ADP WFN and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Integrity in handling confidential information.
• CPP certification is a plus.
