Senior Mechanical Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will execute all aspects of the mechanical engineering process for both new and existing NK products, conducting customer needs analysis, ideation, industrial design, and more.

In Short

• Design and engineer electro-mechanical consumer products using CAD software.
• Utilize SolidWorks for CAD development of components and assemblies.
• Manage fit and assembly of components.
• Drive communication with suppliers for component sourcing.
• Develop testing criteria for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
• Document product designs and produce Bills of Materials.
• Evaluate products through iterative design and prototypes.
• Work in a hybrid environment with some remote work.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in high volume manufacturing.
• Expertise in design of plastic injection molded components.
• Experience with SolidWorks and CAD development.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent time-management and communication skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to iterate designs and manage multiple projects.
