Overview

The Housekeeper position at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital involves maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the hospital, supporting the organization's mission to provide exceptional patient care.

In Short

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with weekend and holiday rotation.
• Perform daily cleaning and discharge cleaning in patient areas.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues and incomplete assignments.
• Handle organic waste and sanitize patient equipment.
• Assist with office moves and special setups as needed.
• Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Requires English communication skills for job performance.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and converse in English.
• Physical ability to lift and perform cleaning tasks.
