In Short

• Act as the primary technical counterpart to Analysts and Data Product Owners to co-create reporting solutions.
• Translate conceptual business questions into robust technical implementations.
• Transform Silver-layer data into optimized Gold-layer Star Schemas.
• Build and maintain the Semantic Layer using dbt and potentially Cube.
• Design and deliver high-fidelity dashboards and exports in modern environments.
• Ensure deliverables meet the team's Definition of Done with rigorous checks.
• Participate in hiring processes as a Senior team member.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Dimensional Modeling and the Medallion Architecture lifecycle.
• Expert-level SQL and dbt skills; experience with Snowflake on Azure.
• Deep experience with modern BI tools and headless BI/semantic layers.
• Experience writing dbt data tests; TDD experience is a bonus.
• Collaborative mindset towards Analysts and Product Owners.
• Proactive desire to learn the underlying business logic.
• Proactive about finding data discrepancies.
• Ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders.
