Vice President, Program Team Lead - Biotech/Pharma - Remote

In Short

• Leads the program core team, responsible for creating and developing the program strategy and operational plan.
• Accountable for the quality of the team’s output, driving to generate high-quality data.
• Drives decision-making and issues resolution within the team.
• Ensures cross-functional alignment and organizational support.
• Facilitates internal and external stakeholder meetings.
• Challenges assumptions, timelines, and expenses at the program level.
• Manages prioritization of program team activities.
• Acts as spokesperson for the program.
• Responsible for communication to Senior Management.
• Leads ad-hoc cross-functional task forces.

Requirements

• Outstanding team leadership skills in a complex matrix environment.
• Masters or Doctoral degree with a medical or scientific focus.
• 15+ years in life-sciences, biotech, and pharmaceutical industry; neuropsychiatry experience required.
• At least 7 years of multi-/cross-functional leadership experience.
• Experience with clinical program leadership required.
• Excellent relationship building skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Broad understanding of the drug development process.
• Advanced level of basic science; small molecule expertise desired.
• Ability to interpret and evaluate scientific and business-related information.
