Senior Manager, Tax Operations - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Tax Operations to join our global tax team at Netflix, overseeing all aspects of the global provision and U.S. federal income tax.

In Short

• Oversee quarterly and annual global provision calculations and disclosures under ASC 740.
• Lead internal cash tax and effective tax rate forecasting processes.
• Analyze and communicate global income tax results and impacts of legislative changes.
• Prepare and review complex federal tax calculations and technical documentation.
• Maintain documentation, internal workpapers, and support for external audit and SOX 404 compliance.
• Identify and implement improvements in systems, tools, and processes.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, Treasury, and Tax teams.
• Manage a high-performing team, focusing on coaching and developing talent.
• 12+ years of progressive corporate tax experience required.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
• Master’s in Tax or Accounting preferred.
• Deep technical knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. federal tax.
• Experience managing and improving end-to-end global provision processes.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
