Overview

The Java & React Senior Engineers II position at Ness involves leading the technical development and support for internal web applications, focusing on scalable user-facing features and backend services.

In Short

Design and develop scalable user-facing features using Angular, React JS, and JavaScript.
Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Optimize application front end for performance.
Integrate back-end services with the UI layer.
Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
Create server-side logic using Java.
Manage databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and write efficient queries.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps.
Participate in Sprint ceremonies to ensure alignment with Agile methodologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
9+ years in Java J2EE building web applications.
5+ years of experience with related frameworks and technologies.
2+ years of experience in UI development using React, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS.
Significant knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.
Experience with Oracle Web logic and Tomcat.
Experience with API management and Cloud-based platforms.
Working knowledge of Dev-Ops tools.
Understanding of Test Driven Development practices.
Strong analytical skills.
