The Senior IT System Administrator at NerdWallet is responsible for maintaining the stability, scalability, and security of the organization’s technology infrastructure, involving design, configuration, and maintenance of key IT systems.

In Short

• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and refining operational processes.

• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance identity management and overall IT infrastructure efficiency.
• Develop and maintain enterprise identity management solutions.
• Oversee endpoint management systems for consistent security policies.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce endpoint protection policies and compliance monitoring.
• Maintain all IT infrastructure components including networks, servers, and cloud services.
• Ensure creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Experience successfully working in a remote role.
• Strong technical verbal and written skills.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience with Mac, Windows, and mobile devices.
• Understanding of security principles and automation tools.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with change management and defining team processes.
