Overview

The Senior Accountant for Fandango will manage month-end close processes, compute royalty payments, and ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards while collaborating with various teams.

• Complete month-end close for Fandango at Home entity.
• Compute and process studio royalty payments.
• Review studio agreements for GAAP compliance.
• Communicate with studios on reporting variances.
• Ensure data integrity on reports with BI collaboration.
• Set up new studios for data transfer.
• Report and review monthly sales tax reports.
• Collaborate with FP&A on P&L variances.
• Assist with audits and internal control documentation.
• Support automation and standardization initiatives.

Requirements

• 1+ years of accounting experience with analytical skills.
• Intermediate to expert MS Excel and Word skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Project management experience.
• Prior experience with SAP preferred.
• Understanding of general ledger functionality.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
