Quality Engineer II - Remote

Overview

The Quality Engineer is responsible for test planning, design, execution, and automation for various GolfNow applications and subsystems, focusing on both front-end client and back-end server testing.

In Short

• Perform software quality testing, including black box, white box, user acceptance, and maintenance regression testing.
• Evaluate testing and inspection plans for projects of varying technology and complexity.
• Develop and document test scripts, test cases, defect tracking, and reports.
• Work independently and own quality for business initiatives.
• Create and maintain manual and automated test scripts and test data.
• Review log files and other documentation for defects.
• Participate in user acceptance testing.
• Perform maintenance regression testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to support applications.
• Validate and troubleshoot at a database level, primarily SQL and Mongo.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Passion for uncovering bugs and identifying edge cases.
• Self-starter mindset with curiosity and a proactive approach.
• Experience validating software functionality across systems.
