Overview

Fandango is seeking a visionary Director of Software Engineering to shape the next chapter of our technology platform, combining the collective years of knowledge from all of our brands with the best processes and practices of the world.

In Short

Lead development efforts for Fandango, Fandango at Home, and Rotten Tomatoes.
Oversee the design and evolution of internal APIs and external integrations.
Evaluate and design scalable systems using the latest cloud technologies.
Partner with Product and business stakeholders to align technology execution.
Translate complex business ideas into elegant technical solutions.
Build API and AI-driven SaaS products designed to scale.
Leverage AI and machine learning for predictive forecasting.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to engineering teams.
Ensure products meet security and compliance standards.

Requirements

10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
5+ years in engineering leadership roles.
Strong background in API-first development and integrations.
Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proficiency in Python, C#, Java, Typescript or equivalents.
Experience leading multiple engineering teams.
Track record of building diverse and inclusive teams.
Experience with cybersecurity and compliance teams.
Background in SaaS productization.
Change management skills.
