Overview

The Director of Engineering – Legal & Privacy Systems is a strategic technical leader responsible for the development, customization, and operational excellence of Versant’s legal and privacy platforms.

• Lead engineering teams to deliver scalable and secure systems.
• Own the vision and roadmap for legal and privacy system engineering.
• Partner with Privacy, Legal, and Compliance teams.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in engineering roles, with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience with OneTrust and iManage DMS.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and sustain high-performing teams.
• Understanding of legal operations and privacy regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
