Junior Information Security Manager - Remote

Overview

As Junior Information Security Manager, you will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other security frameworks. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that security measures are embedded across the organization, helping to manage risk, maintain compliance, and enhance security awareness.

• Support ISMS development and maintenance by ensuring alignment with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other relevant security frameworks.
• Assist in risk management activities, including risk assessments, control implementation, and monitoring of security controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure security policies, processes, and best practices are effectively communicated and adopted across the company.
• Support security compliance and audit processes, working closely with stakeholders to address security requirements.
• Respond to client security questionnaires and support the automation of responses for improved efficiency.
• Promote security awareness initiatives to enhance security culture across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in information security, risk management, or compliance (internships or relevant certifications are a plus).
• Solid understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, TISAX) and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with security tools and compliance processes (e.g., risk assessment tools, security monitoring).
