Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Financial Analyst II to support budget execution activities for the Department of Energy's Carlsbad Field Office.

In Short

• Support the CBFO Budget Director and Analysts with budget execution activities.
• Prepare, issue, and review budget execution reports and forms.
• Research, compile, and analyze information for various reports.
• Review travel requests for budget availability and compliance.
• Track travel authorizations and vouchers.
• Prepare purchase requisitions as necessary.
• Work closely with budget analysts on daily business matters.
• Attend trainings for budget software platforms.
• Other duties as requested.
• Remote position with travel required.

Requirements

• Experience in financial analysis and budget management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with budget software platforms.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Knowledge of DOE and CBFO policies preferred.
