Junior Accountant - Accounts Receivable - Remote

Overview

The Junior Accountant in Accounts Receivable will manage incoming payments, track outstanding balances, and ensure accurate financial records while focusing on tasks like invoice processing, reconciliation, and customer communication.

• Process incoming payments from B2B customers and international subsidiaries.
• Set up debit payment processes for domestic specialist dealers.
• Oversee credit control for domestic and overseas distribution partners.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual account statements.
• Handle credit insurance and report on overdue accounts.
• Support liquidity planning and cash flow analyses.
• Optimize processes in the Accounts Receivable field.
• Maintain and update customer files and process payments.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers regarding payment issues.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with numbers in an international team.
• Commercial training or studies in Economics, with professional experience in accounting.
• Solid knowledge of national (HGB) and international (IFRS) guidelines.
• Experience with ERP, especially Oracle.
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Meticulous approach with an eye for the big picture.
• Experience with basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
