Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's financial operations, ensuring financial health while aligning with the organization’s mission and goals.

• Reports directly to the CEO.
• Oversees the Controller and finance strategy function.
• Develops and manages the annual budget.
• Prepares financial statements and reports for the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with government-funded non-profits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of non-profit fundraising practices.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and Microsoft Office 365 preferred.
• CPA and Master’s degree in accounting preferred.
