NRG is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our Future Of practice, supporting our flagship syndicated biannual landscape studies: Future of Film and Future of Series—which elevate consumer trends into clear, actionable strategic guidance for our studio and streaming clients.

In Short

• Support all phases of quantitative and qualitative research tied to Future of Film and Future of Series.
• Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations through visual, creative and story-driven reports.
• Conduct ongoing landscape and trends research across film, television, streaming, platforms, talent, technology, and audience behavior.
• Source, synthesize, and contextualize information from proprietary and third-party data.
• Organize and maintain project materials, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
• Manage survey logic proofing and QA prior to launch.
• Conduct data checks and support accuracy across reports and presentations.
• Support presentation development for client readouts.
• Assist with qualitative research setup and coordination.
• Partner closely with internal teams to keep projects moving forward.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in consumer insights, media research, or related fields.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills to connect research findings into compelling narratives.
• Curiosity and interest in entertainment and consumer behavior.
• Ability to translate consumer insights into strategic implications.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Data-driven critical thinking with experience visualizing data.
• Familiarity with data analysis techniques and software.
• Experience using AI tools for research and storytelling.
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Team player with a zest for learning.
• B.A./B.S. degree in relevant fields.
