Membership and Operations Assistant - Remote

Overview

The Membership and Operations Assistant is responsible for NFSA’s membership operations, ensuring excellent service to current and prospective members, and overseeing membership renewals, invoices, terminations, registrations, engagements, and communications.

In Short

• Monitor and respond to inquiries in the membership inbox.
• Handle incoming membership-related phone calls.
• Assist with new member orientations.
• Create new member invoices.
• Manage and process membership renewals.
• Maintain awareness of events for member engagement.
• Assist with CRM database management.
• Plan and execute annual membership mailings.
• Coordinate member service events.
• Some remote work flexibility may be considered.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in membership services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365/Office and CRM software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
