Membership Assistant - Remote

Overview

The Membership Coordinator assists with the membership program at KUNC and The Colorado Sound and provides excellent customer service support to over 16,000 members. This position assists in developing and implementing processes to continue to serve and grow the membership program.

In Short

• Sends all membership renewals, anniversary cards, and other related components of the direct mail program.
• Primary contact for members to update payment information and answer general questions.
• Provides excellent customer service to members.
• Processes gifts in Raisers Edge.
• Manages the EFT and Credit Card decline process.
• Implements strategies to retain monthly donors.
• Maintains database hygiene in fundraising CRMs.
• Supports the membership team during on-air fundraising drives.
• Coordinates donor acknowledgements and mailings.
• Attends public media webinars and assists with station events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience using Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge.
• Proficiency in report building and query development in Raiser’s Edge preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and residency within the KUNC listening area.
• Ability to work additional hours during membership drives.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
