Senior Business Analyst (Data Projects) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in the food manufacturing industry.

In Short

• Work with the Business Relationship Manager, Scrum Master and Product Owner on defining the project’s detailed scope.
• Responsible for creating, refining, and maintaining user stories and associated deliverables.
• Provide guidance and facilitate conversations on sizing stories and determining technical story details.
• Work with the Product Owner and other BAs on the prioritization of user stories in the product backlog.
• Define acceptance criteria sufficiently for testing.
• Confirm the delivered solution meets the stated requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders to test user stories.
• Guide the team in understanding Agile development methodology.
• Provide coaching for junior resources.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on IT projects.
• Experience as a Business Analyst for Data projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in requirement-gathering techniques and documentation.
• Experience with cross-functional groups.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of tools like Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience facilitating meetings at multiple organizational levels.
