Overview

We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join the MyFitnessPal engineering team. Our users rely on the MyFitnessPal iOS app to power their health and fitness journeys every day. As a member of our MyFitnessPal Engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to positively impact those users with your expertise in the iOS development ecosystem. In Short

• Work closely with design and user interface teams to implement mobile interfaces.
• Improve user experience by optimizing UI, data storage, and network communications.
• Independently build and deliver high-quality features.
• Research and implement technical solutions for business goals.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience building applications in Objective-C and Swift in an Agile environment.
• Experience writing unit tests and testable code.
• Experience with multithreaded programming.
• Comfort working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Git in a team environment.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Familiarity with package managers.
• Some experience with CI/CD.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excited about mentoring junior developers.
