Senior AI Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a member of our MyFitnessPal Data Science team, you’ll have the opportunity to positively impact users by creating predictive models and AI that drives the MyFitnessPal ecosystem.

In Short

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale production systems leveraging large language models (LLMs) and vision-language models (VLMs)
• Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models such as GPT-4, OpenAI Whisper, CLIP, or similar for specific business needs
• Develop efficient pipelines for data preprocessing, model training, and deployment in production environments
• Design scalable APIs and infrastructure to integrate LLMs and VLMs into real-world applications
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven features and solutions
• Stay up to date with advancements in AI/ML, particularly in LLMs and VLMs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, AI development, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs and VLMs
• Experience building scalable AI pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment
• Skilled in model optimization techniques
• Strong understanding of MLOps best practices
• Comfortable conducting performance monitoring and using tools for logging and debugging
• Strong analytical skills to assess model performance
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
