Overview

As a Software Engineer at Mux, you will play a key role in building Mux’s next-generation Video products that power delightful user experiences for millions worldwide.

In Short

• Work cross-functionally with product, customer success, and other engineering teams.
• Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, launch & on-call.
• Take accountability for the planning and delivery of projects.
• Bring ideas and directly influence your team's roadmap.
• Build & promote best practices in your team for availability, reliability, and production readiness.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in production Backend & Video Engineering.
• Expertise in building and operating distributed video systems.
• A track record of writing high-quality, maintainable code.
• Solid operational experience with Kubernetes and monitoring tools.
• Strongly preferred: In-depth experience building integrated Video products.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
