IGS Calibration Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Image-Guided Solutions (IGS) / vascular Calibration Engineer (CE) will perform calibration & service on life-changing medical equipment, acting as the primary GE HealthCare representative to customers during the calibration phase.

In Short

• Perform calibration and service on medical equipment.
• Lead and be the Subject Matter Expert on calibration of IGS Systems.
• Travel up to 75% to customer locations.
• Work with field engineers on troubleshooting and service repair needs.
• Maintain customer service logs and internal service records.
• Answer service calls independently within one year of employment.
• Complete on-time and accurate Preventative Maintenance.
• Assist with equipment installation.
• Utilize GEHC escalation process for customer issues.
• Support key accounts as a member of the account community.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing medical equipment.
• Experience with Web applications and Microsoft products.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Willingness to work after hours or rotating On-Call schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted.
• Good hand and finger dexterity required.
• Capability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
