Overview

MRG Exams is seeking an Ophthalmologist to perform comprehensive eye exams on United States Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process, focusing on assessments rather than treatment.

In Short

Perform comprehensive eye exams on veterans.
Review medical health records via a secure Web Portal.
Complete forms through the Web Portal.
Assess 3-6 veterans per day on average.
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
Travel to different locations in Alaska for exams.
Work on a PRN basis.
Not a treating role; only assessments.
Submit completed forms within 24 hours after exams.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Requirements

Interest in performing assessments instead of traditional patient care.
Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings.
Interest in serving veterans.
Demonstrated communication skills.
