GIS Analyst - Remote

Overview

The GIS Analyst will support the management of GIS data maintenance for various Motorola Solutions products, ensuring effective communication between customers and internal teams.

In Short

• Work with customer resources for GIS data management
• Install and administer ESRI software
• Create and manipulate GIS data
• Provide first-line GIS data support
• Engage throughout the contract lifecycle
• Coordinate communication with customer contacts
• Conduct training sessions
• Work in compliance with CJIS Security Policy
• Remote position available for candidates in the US
• Pass a background check for government customers

Requirements

• Experience with ESRI applications
• Knowledge of GIS data management principles
• Familiarity with ArcGIS software applications
• Understanding of cartographic principles
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong commitment to product quality
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel (under 10%)
• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant experience
