Financial Analyst & Cost Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Financial Analyst & Cost Accountant position at Moog involves preparing, reporting, and forecasting financial data while providing support for various initiatives and projects across the site.

In Short

• Prepare financial reports for site and program cost control.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly accounting close procedures.
• Monitor direct labor utilization and indirect rate performance.
• Develop and monitor the annual sales plan.
• Assess and report on profitability and cash flow performance.
• Conduct financial analysis on long-term programs.
• Communicate program cost and status to management.
• Participate in the annual budget process.
• Support financial forecasting processes.
• Involved in financial accounting projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance (MBA or MS Accounting desired).
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Financial and US GAAP principles.
• Experience building strategic working relationships.
• Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
