Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer, Design Systems to own the design infrastructure that accelerates Momentus' AI-first product strategy. This is not a maintenance role. It is a strategic, code-adjacent position at the center of how Momentus builds product.

• Own the design infrastructure for AI-first product strategy.
• Audit and migrate Figma libraries to a component system.
• Build and maintain LLM-readable system documentation.
• Establish governance for AI-generated code.
• Track system health metrics related to business outcomes.
• Lead design of AI interaction patterns across product lines.
• Define standards for AI features' appearance and communication.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management.
• Define visual and interaction quality standards.
• Champion accessibility and contribute to design reviews.

Requirements

• Experience building a design system in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Fluency with AI-assisted workflows and tools like Claude.
• Ability to produce shippable components and contribute to a shared repo.
• Understanding of design tokens and component APIs.
• Experience designing AI interaction surfaces.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in a remote, cross-functional environment.
