Director, Government Contracts (Medicaid/Medicare) - Remote

Overview

The Director of Government Contracts is responsible for the strategic development and administration of contracts with State and Federal governments for healthcare services, focusing on Medicaid, Medicare, and other government-sponsored programs.

• Manage State healthcare contracts and compliance requirements.
• Lead project teams to implement new standards.
• Chair committees and lead workgroups.
• Assess proposed State laws and regulations.
• Supervise department staff and develop SMEs.
• Act as a liaison with State healthcare agencies.

• Identify new business and bid opportunities.

• Maintain knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in a managed care environment.
• 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of State Health Department laws.
• Experience in compliance for Medicaid & Medicare.
• Contract management experience.
• Master's degree preferred in Business Administration or related field.
