Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. You will play an integral role in managing the month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and providing insight into the company’s financial health.

• Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the company’s general ledger.
• Review and post journal entries for various accounting functions.
• Reconcile all general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close process.
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Coordinate with internal teams for accurate transaction accounting.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing account reconciliations.
• Ensure proper recognition of revenue in accordance with ASC 606.
• Review customer contracts and billing arrangements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Quickbooks Experience.
