In Short

• Lead the end-to-end mechanical design for a device or system.
• Push the state-of-the-art in design, materials, and assembly processes.
• Convert the Industrial Design team’s vision to mechanical designs that meet product KPIs.
• Work across the entire product development lifecycle, focusing on early ideation and solution development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from NTI to high volume manufacturing.

Requirements

• Over 15 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering design of mobile, handheld or wearable consumer electronics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Master-level CAD design experience.
• Expert level in Creo preferred; ability to work in NX is highly preferred.
• Understanding of FEA for structural and thermal simulation.
• Experience designing for Human Factors and user experience.
• Experience with DFM and in designing, prototyping, testing, to shipping high volume products.
• Strong influence and collaboration skills.
