Data Scientist - DeFi Quantitative Research - Remote

Overview

We are a Series B quantitative research and optimization company that leads the field in DeFi economics. We manage market risk, optimize growth, and ensure economic safety for protocols facilitating most spot trading, borrowing, and lending activity across all of DeFi, protecting and optimizing the largest protocols and networks in the industry. We are seeking experienced Data Scientists to help new and established protocols better understand and optimize the systems they've built.

In Short

• Perform in-depth quantitative research into DeFi protocols.
• Take end-to-end ownership of client engagements.
• Draft and write engaging research for public consumption.
• Build and deploy dashboards for internal and client use.
• Develop expert-level knowledge of cryptoeconomic mechanisms.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in a quantitative field.
• Clear communication and client management skills.
• Proven track record of drawing insights from complex datasets.
• Experience in Web3 and crypto.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, and statistical software.
• Ability to work independently toward abstract goals.
• Experience with financial products and pricing models.
