Senior Analytics Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Own and maintain executive-level dashboards, ensuring the data models (LookML and dbt) behind them are accurate and scalable.
• Develop and refine data models to support Mixbook’s growth, moving from ad-hoc structures to a more robust environment.
• Build repeatable, scalable solutions and guide end users for self-service analytics.
• Establish uniform definitions for key metrics and maintain data quality standards.
• Requires early-morning meetings (as early as 6am PST) to collaborate with the Eastern European engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics).
• 4+ years of proven experience in Analytics or Data Engineering.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and LookML.
• Proven track record with dbt, delivering modular, tested transformations for analytics.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
• Success in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Comfortable introducing new analytic techniques.
