Software Tester (Kubernetes) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Tester with a strong background in testing Kubernetes and multi-cluster environments. In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies for cloud-native applications deployed in complex containerized ecosystems.

• Develop detailed testing strategies and plans specific to Kubernetes-based and multi-cluster environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development engineering teams to understand CI/CD architectures and build pipelines.
• Create and maintain test cases tailored to Kubernetes clusters.
• Conduct functional, integration, and system testing for containerized workloads.
• Identify and document issues related to Kubernetes configurations.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for testing Kubernetes workloads.
• Mentor junior testers on Kubernetes-related testing strategies.
• Provide detailed reports on test coverage and results.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps in testing coverage.
• Work with an established leader in the cloud infrastructure industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years focusing on Kubernetes.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience testing applications in multi-cluster and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with tools like Kubectl, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of cloud providers including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
