DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

Mirantis is looking for a talented DevOps engineer with experience in Kubernetes and public clouds to help us evolve and expand the product and is willing to work on the intersection of DevOps and QA engineering.

In Short

• Deploy, test, and evaluate Mirantis k0rdent and other K8S-related products
• Research, develop, implement CI/CD tooling to ensure Mirantis products workability and performance
• Participate in designing and developing tools for deploying K8S environments
• Make recommendations based on obtained test results
• Participate in requirement, design, planning, and retrospective meetings
• Work with a geographically distributed team in a dynamic Agile environment
• Help with customer issues resolutions

Requirements

• Thorough understanding and experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• DevOps engineering experience, understanding of CI/CD core aspects
• At least 3 years of practical experience in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Experience with versioning control systems, such as Git
• Direct experience with public clouds such as AWS / Azure / GCP
• Bachelor degree in CS or related field
• Good communication skills, can-do attitude, and focus on results
