Software-Architekt & Lead – Embedded Linux Systems (m|w|d) - Remote

Overview

The role involves being the primary contact for the proprietary operating system based on Embedded Linux, continuously developing it while ensuring stability across various customer environments.

In Short

• Lead the development of a proprietary Embedded Linux operating system.
• Establish a unified architecture for the system.
• Continuously roll out the system considering regulatory and security requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders from hardware, firmware, and software teams.
• Create and document a roadmap for system development.
• Customize the operating system for different devices while maintaining scalability.
• Participate in the architecture board for software platform development.
• Implement updates and patches based on Yocto.
• Check licenses and security vulnerabilities of software components.
• Work in an agile team environment.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in software architecture and development, preferably in C++.
• Experience with Embedded Linux and knowledge of Yocto is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for technology.
• Ability to work collaboratively in agile teams.
• Fluent in English (minimum B2 level).
