Subrogation Claims Representative - Remote

Overview

Western National Insurance Group is looking for a Subrogation Claims Representative to join our Claims Team. This role involves working with internal and external teams to recover funds from claims.

In Short

• Handles moderately complex subrogation claims.
• Compiles data to determine recovery amounts.
• Collaborates with file handlers for recovery opportunities.
• Breaks down complex problems into manageable pieces.
• Utilizes resources to resolve claims effectively.
• Prepares documentation for arbitration.
• Negotiates with other carriers as necessary.
• Participates in process improvements.

Requirements

• Three or more years of claims experience, preferably in subrogation.
• Experience with Workers’ Compensation, Property, or Auto claims.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other systems.
• Strong understanding of industry practices and claims concepts.
• Able to multitask and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Good business judgment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Working towards AIC, AINS, or CPCU certification preferred.
