Overview

The Accountant I is an integral role on the MultiCare finance team, responsible for month-close tasks and ledger reconciliation, applying accounting expertise to ensure smooth financial operations.

In Short

• Responsible for month-close tasks and ledger reconciliation.
• Prepare journal entries and adjustments in general and subsidiary ledgers.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and analyses of general ledger accounts.
• Meet monthly close deadlines and follow-up as appropriate with supervisor/reviewer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Working toward or plan to work toward CPA preferred.
• Minimum one year of related work experience preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Working toward or plan to work toward CPA preferred.
• Minimum one year of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with general ledger system preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.
