Overview

The Supervisor for the Centralized PreCertification Department is responsible for overseeing and organizing the work of the Authorization Specialists, ensuring timely and accurate pre-authorizations and compliance with medical necessity requirements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in patient access or revenue cycle.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding guidelines.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to make informed decisions based on clinical knowledge.
