Azure Cloud Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in building and maintaining highly reliable, scalable systems with strong cloud security expertise. This role will focus on ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of our Azure infrastructure while implementing SRE best practices. You will champion reliability engineering principles, drive automation initiatives, and build robust observability solutions to maintain world-class uptime and performance.

In Short

• Design and manage scalable, highly available Azure infrastructure.
• Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Implement chaos engineering practices.
• Design observability solutions for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Own and implement Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform.
• Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning.
• Implement security measures for Azure resources.

Requirements

• 8+ years in SRE, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles, with significant Azure experience.
• Knowledge in .NET framework and .NET Core.
• Strong automation skills with Terraform and Bash scripting.
• Deep understanding of SRE principles.
• Expertise in observability tools and practices.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies.
• Proficiency in Azure services.
• Database experience with Azure SQL and Cosmos DB.
• CI/CD proficiency with GitHub Actions.
• Strong communication skills for cross-timezone collaboration.
